I have been recently receive training TASER training from my work and let me tell you, it is the worse pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I was one of the youngest guys in the class to receive it. You would think Oh he is young it won't bother him, well you thought wrong. I was incapacitated my my neck to my feet. I couldn't sneeze if I wanted to. It last five seconds but it seems like a full minute. When I see these videos of aggressive criminals pulling out the darts it stumps me how they do it. For the most part they are on drugs but I digress. I have attached the video, hopefully it works.
Two Chicago Police Officers Shot
On May 3rd around 9 p.m. in the back of yards’
neighborhood, two ON duty Chicago Police Officers were shot sitting in their
squad cars. One officer was shot in the back and the other was shot in the arm
and hip, both on in serious, but stable condition. As of yesterday three people
were person’s of interest. I am appalled at this, what kind of scum of the earth
shoots at, first people, and second police officers. This says that they’re
people in Chicago that don’t care if you are a cop or not. If these scums of
the earth will shoot at police, they wont think twice at shooting a citizen of
Chicago. No wonder Chicago’s population is decreasing. I am ashamed to call
this great city home.
What do I think of the police?
I
don’t really agree with these interviews, many of their experiences are based
off their police experience may have been a bad one, so they think all police
are bad or all police are racist, when that isn’t the case. Yes, as well all
know with the media not a days that not every cop is a good cop, but the media
only covers the stories that talk bad about the police. When do they ever talk
about when a officer did something well? For example, Did anyone see when the
Lakewood SWAT team should up for a Autistic boy birthday party? I have a funny
feeling you didn’t because that didn’t make the cut for the news companies,
they only show the stories that sell. I
believe that for people to see BOTH side of Law Enforcement. If you ask any
Police Officer, they will tell you the police isn’t a pretty job and people
should see it for it really is, not Monday morning quarterbacking their
decisions on the morning news sipping their coffee. The comment that struck me
the most was when the man from Mexico City said “police should only have, maybe
a Taser.” I actually laughed out loud at this comment. If people thing that if
the police aren’t armed then the shooting will stop, well they have another
thing coming. I live in the City of Chicago and I have spoke to many detectives’
who work homicides and shooting. 4300 people were shot in Chicago in 2016 and
people want the police not to be armed. How does that make any sense if bullets
are flying left and right?
Tecumseh Police Officer Justin
Terney Killed
At
just twenty-two years old, Officer Justin Terney was killed performing a
traffic stop. He died on March 27th.
This was very sad, he such a young man only two years older then me and
a recent graduate of Tecumseh Police
academy. He Tried to use his Taser on the suspect but it was ineffective. This
is why sometimes the non-deadly force isn’t always work. He had ever right to
shoot this suspect, but he chose the non-deadly route and now we lost another
guardian. Rest in Peace officer Terney, gone but not forgotten.
